Daikin Split - Climate Control of a room | Daikin
Inverter... we anticipate the future
Saving energy does not imply having to sacrifice features or well-being, at least with Daikin and its DC Inverter System. It is a revolutionary technology we began to introduce in Spain in 1999 through domestic climate control units. Today, Daikin’s engineers have already included its benefits in the entire product range which we make available to the domestic, commercial and industrial sector.
With Daikin, power and intelligence are more united than ever. Thanks to its Inverter technology, our units achieve a maximum heating power of up to 70% more than a standard unit. And with regard to cooling, Daikin achieves up to 30% more energy. This is possible because Daikin’s Inverter technology allows variation in the unit’s frequency and capacity. Therefore, these units are capable of maximising their capacity when powered on and rapidly reaching the desired temperature.
Our entire range includes the Inverter system
Inverter technology saves energy for two main reasons:
- The compressor varies in speed in accordance with the cooling or heating load and, therefore, consumes only the energy required to meet the specific needs of the room at any given time.
- When a climate control system with Inverter technology functions at partial load, the system’s energy efficiency is considerably higher than at full load. In a typical application, partial load conditions prevail for more than 90% of operating time. A fixed-speed system can only operate at full load and, therefore, cannot coincide with the annual efficiencies of a system with Inverter technology.
