In any house, aerothermal energy can perfectly replace a boiler and make use of conventional or low-temperature radiator systems.

Not all homes choose to install underfloor heating, so it’s essential to be able to use the elements already present in the home to combine them with aerothermal heating.

High temperature or conventional radiators

In this case, a good installation planning is recommended in order to adapt it to aerothermal energy. This will make it possible to choose the right aerothermal equipment capable of operating at high temperatures.

Usually in an aerothermal installation with conventional radiators, small adaptations are required. For example, aerothermal systems work at a lower temperature but with a higher water flow rate, which may require a modification of some pipes.

Low temperature radiators

Every year, the trend reveals an increasing demand for low-temperature installations. In low-temperature radiators, the cold air enters from below and rises naturally as it is heated by a movement called convection.

These radiators emit less energy but work just as well as conventional radiators. To compensate for this energy difference, it is sometimes sufficient to insulate the room more effectively.

In other cases, this is solved by installing larger radiators. Each home requires a particular study to determine the installation conditions and the choice of the most suitable equipment.

Low-temperature radiators generate greater energy savings, as they’re designed to work together with low-temperature aerothermal equipment.

Convectors are a type of low-temperature radiators that incorporate a ventilation system that increases their performance.

This makes it possible to drastically reduce their dimensions, as the flow of hot air is much greater than that produced by convection. In addition, this type of radiator includes a cooling function in summer.

Aerothermics, the renewable energy that air-conditions your home

Aerothermal energy is a renewable, inexhaustible and free energy that comes from the air and allows us to obtain heating, air conditioning and domestic hot water.

How does Aerothermics work?

  1. The atmosphere captures the energy emitted by the sun.
  2. Heat Pump technology captures that renewable energy from the air.
  3. That energy is used in our home through the outdoor unit which sends it to the indoor unit.
  4. The indoor unit heats the water and produces heating and domestic hot water.
  5.  In summer, the heat from our home is sent outside to produce air conditioning.

Aerothermics makes it easier to integrate the use of renewable energies in the domestic environment and the consequent reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
